The Emporia State softball team was swept by Central Oklahoma in a doubleheader Friday.
Central Oklahoma won the first game 4-2. Hailey Cope drove in both runs for the Lady Hornets with a homerun and a single. Central Oklahoma won the 2nd game 6-2. Carlie McComb and Annie Rockley drove in runs for the Emporia State. Coach April Rosales said they did a better job of making adjustments in the second game.
The Emporia State softball team falls to 7-10 for the season and 0-2 in the MIAA. The Lady Hornets play at Rogers State Tuesday.
