Emporia State outfielder Bryce Fischer has been named the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association NCAA Division II Central Region Baseball Hitter of the Week.
Fischer hit three home runs and drove in 12 runs in three games including game ending hits in the last two games of Emporia States three game sweep of Southwest Baptist last week.
The Hornets begin a 3 game series at Pittsburg State Friday.
