Emporia High is now searching for a new head wrestling Coach. Emporia High Athletic Director Curtis Simons has confirmed that Dustin Malone has resigned after 4 seasons.
Coach Malone said he is resigning for personal and professional reasons.
The Spartan wrestling team finished in 7th place at the 5A state tournament and had 5 state placers.
Coach Malone, a former Spartan Wrestler, took over the Wrestling program beginning with the 2014-15 season. The search for a replacement will begin soon.
