The Emporia State womens tennis team was defeated by Fort Hays State 5 matches to 4 in a duel Tuesday.
The Lady Hornets won at number 1 doubles with Kaley Clark and Sarah Durham winning 8-4. The duo of Silvana Caceres and Shannon Meyer won at number 2 doubles 8-5. Kaley Clark won at 1 singles 6-4, 6-4. Shannon Meyer won at number 4 singles 7-6, 64. The Emporia State women host Missouri Western Thursday.
