Emporia High Track opened the season at a meet in Topeka, Thursday. The boys finished 2nd, the girls 3rd, out of seven teams.
1st place finishes, for the boys: Brent Hastert in the 800M; Rafeal Vasquez in the 110M and 300M Hurdles; the 4 by 100M relay team of Storm Dial, Kesston Gentz, Colin Polston, and Colton Bieker; and Myles Livingston in the Discus. 1st place finishes, for the girls: Abby Stewart in the 1600M; Miranda Reisen in the Long Jump; and Olivia Young in the High Jump.
