Missouri Southern scored a run in the bottom of the 10th to slip past the Emporia State baseball team 1-0 Sunday.
The Hornets out hit Southern 5-4 and stranded 7 base runners. Southern scored the winning run with 2 outs. Emporia State won the series 2 games 1. The Hornets are scheduled to host Washburn Tuesday.
