The Emporia High softball team opens their season Friday hosting Junction City in a doubleheader.
Coach Troy Chapman says he will be looking for improvement from last year.
Senior Hana Risley says they are an improved team.
First pitch is set for 4pm at the Trusler Sports Complex.
