Emporia High diver Haylee Weiss set a new school record for 6 dives Monday at the Mill Valley-DeSoto Invitational.
She broke the record she set last year. For the 2nd meet in a row the divers finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Weiss was first followed by Whitney Sparks and Karalyn Karjala. In the pool Ashlyn Alingh had the best finish, she took 3rd in the 100 butterfly. Ashlyn also finished in 4th place in the 50 free. She was also a part of the 200 and 400 free relays that finished 4th and 5th. Kayle Hart, Peton Irwin and Kelsey Boettcher were a part of both relays. Kaylen Hart finished 5th in the 500 free and 6th in the 200 free. As a team Emporia High finished in 4th place out of 5 teams.
