Mondays schedule includes the Emporia High girls soccer team, boys golf team and the Southern Lyon County boys golf team all competing.
The Emporia High girls soccer team plays at Wichita Heights. The Lady Spartans are 1-5 to start the season, but Coach Oscar Macias says he is seeing improvement.

The Emporia High boys varsity golf team plays in the Manhattan Invitational. In their first two tournaments the Spartans have a 1st place finish and a 4th place finish. Coach Rick Eckert says it has been good start.
