A pair of local entities came together Wednesday evening to protest sexual assualt
SOS hosted its annual Take Back the Night event Wednesday at Emporia State University’s Bruder Theater. SOS Sexual Assault Advocate Adele Clark says even with a large national discussion, this event is important to help foster change.
The event’s featured speakers were siblings and co-founders of SafeBae Daisy and Charlie Coleman, who also answered audience questions. Following an emotionally powerful presentation and public discussion, the group gathered to march through campus from King Hall to Memorial Union.
