Emporia State will have two athletes competing in the Multi Events at the KU relays beginning Wednesday.
Payson Maydew will compete in the decathlon. He has missed the last two seasons after having foot surgery and surgery to repair a sports hernia.
Brianna Schmitz will compete in the heptathlon.
Emporia State will have athletes competing in 32 events beginning Thursday.
