Missouri Western out scored the Emporia State baseball team 11-3 Tuesday.
Westerns big inning was a 6 run 7th inning. The Hornets scored a run in the first and added 2 runs in the 3rd inning to take a 3-2 lead. The Hornets are 13-13 in the MIAA and are in 8th place in the standings. Emporia State plays at 2nd place Central Missouri in a 3 game series scheduled to begin Friday.
