The Emporia State softball team hosts Northwest Missouri State in a doubleheader Thursday.
The Lady Hornets have won their last 5 games and go into the doubleheader in 9th place in the MIAA standings. Freshman catcher Cassidy Beem says they need to play with the same mentality they did last week.
Northwest is tied for 2nd place and have won their last 4 games. First pitch for game 1 is set for 4pm at the Trusler Sports Complex.
The 2nd game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
