Emporia State University has two special activities taking place on campus to round out the week.
First up is the latest Governance, Law and Economics Lecture. At 6 pm Thursday, Flager College’s Honorable Entrepreneurship Program Director Dr. Felix Livingston will discuss how society can encourage and elevate the notion of honorable entrepreneurship, setting an example for business owners to successfully serve their communities and upholding ethical business practices at the same time.
That talk is at Visser Hall Room 118 and is free to the public.
Friday features the Executive Leadership Summit. On a recent KVOE Morning Show, ESU Dean of Business Dr. Ed Bashaw said this event will highlight the successes of recent ESU graduates. He also says this will help both male and female students gain a deeper understanding of what it takes to succeed.
Theresa Martin, Linda Sinnett and Denise Cruz will lead the panel discussion. All have been named as “Women Who Mean Business” by the Kansas City Business Journal. Associated Student Government President Megan McReynolds will facilitate the discussion.
Activities begin at 11:30 am at the Memorial Union Webb Hall. Call 341-5274 for information.
