At the KU relays Tuesday Emporia State athletes picked up 10 top 10 finishes.
Payson Maydew finished in 3rd place and Tanner Raubenstine finished in 7th place in the decathlon. Brianna Schmitz finished in 4th place in the Heptathlon.
Alec Garcia placed 3rd in the shotput. Brian Newkirk finished in 4th place in the 5000 meter run. Leah Nelson finished in 5th place in the 800. Jazmin Williams finished in 7th place in the long jump. In the womens javelin Alyssa Conway finished 9th, Madelyn Hays 10th and Morgan Cape 11th.
Friday Emporia State will have athletes competing in 17 events.
