Emporia State athletes picked up 1 gold medal on day 3 of the KU relays.
Emporia State mens 4 by 800 relay team of Jared Reinke, Cole Bosley, Murad Baheydeen, Thomas LaRoche finished in 1st place. The Mens distance medley relay team of Cole Bosley, Murad Baheydeen, Wyatt Sander and Jared Reinke finished in 3rd place.
Madison Runnion finished in 5th place and Bethany Bowman 8th in the High Jump.
Duke Tibbs had the fastest prelim time in the 400. Taysean Goodwin was 3rd and Luke Stenzel 4th.
In the 200 meter dash prelims Taysean Goodwin was 4th and Duke Tibbs 6th to qualify for the finals.
Wyatt Sander qualified for the finals in the 400 hurdles.
Latie Yeargin and Hanna Shield qualified for the finals in the 100 meter dash.
The Womens 4×100 and 4×400 relays qualified for the finals.
The mens 4×100 and 4×400 relays qualified for the finals.
