The final indoor Emporia Farmers’ Market of the winter season was held on Saturday at Waters True Value. The event provided an opportunity once again to fundraise for the Quilts of Gratitude drawing.
Spokesperson Rosetta Fields says a lot of hard work has been put into the beautiful quilt which is currently on display at Waters.
KVOE, Bruffs Sports Bar and Grill and Waters have partnered together to donate $600 to offset expenses for the “Thank You Troops” quilt. KVOE General Manager Ron Thomas.
Suggested donations are $5 for one chance to win or $10 for three chances. Tickets are available at the Chamber, Waters True Value and KVOE.
The drawing will be May 30.
