Several discussion points are planned for Wednesday’s Emporia City Commission study session.
Commissioners plan to revisit discussion on a potential extension to the Emporia Municipal Airport runway. The project requires the relocation of four holes at the Emporia Golf Course. Cost estimates will also be presented for upgrades and improvements to the jet fuel storage area east of the airport terminal building.
The city’s community development block grant revolving loan fund program will be reviewed along with the Lake Kahola fund. During the meeting, the police car buying policy and a sale of property at 502 State will also be discussed.
Wednesday’s study session begins at 10 a.m. in Conference Room 1AB at White Auditorium.
