Community members are invited to a party at the Rec Center Sunday.
The Emporia Rec Commision Birthday Bash will begin at 10:45 on the front lawn of the Lee Beran Recreation Center. The party will begin with a 5 and 10K run and walk, the cost of which is $15.
Rec Commission staffer Amanda Gutierrez explains what else community members can look forward to at the bash.
Gutierrez says the party gives the rec center a chance to show off what they have to offer.
