The Emporia State baseball team is down to their final 7 games of the regular season. They begin their final 4 game homestand hosting Washburn Wednesday night.
Washburn has won the first two games the two teams have played. Emporia State second baseman Brian Grove says they need to keep playing the way they have the last two weeks.
The Hornets go into the homestand in 8th place in the MIAA standings. The top 8 teams advance to the MIAA post season tournament.
First pitch is now set for 6pm at Glennen Field at the Trusler Sports Complex.
