The community is invited to be part of the American Legion’s 20th annual fundraising potato bar this weekend.
Club member Ron Whitney, a guest on KVOE’s Newsmaker segment this week, says proceeds go to Emporia High’s American Legion baseball team and fund a variety of needs.
The meal features a brick-sized — or larger — potato with a wide array of toppings also available. Carryout is available. Tickets are $5 in advance from a Legion member or at the post. Children under age 3 will be served free of charge.
