The Emporia High baseball, softball and girls soccer team will face Shawnee Heights Friday. The Emporia High track teams will be competing at the Seaman Relays.
The Emporia High baseball team hosts Shawnee Heights in a doubleheader beginning at 4pm at Sodens Grove. Sophomore Cade Kohlmeier says they need to play both games like they did in game 1 at Manhattan Tuesday.

The Emporia High girls soccer team is at Shawnee Heights. The Lady Spartans won their last 2 matches 10-0. Senior Alejandra Acosta said they did gain some valuable knowledge in those wins.

The Emporia High track and field team competes in the Seaman Relays. Junior thrower Taylor Milleson is hoping to build on competing at the KU relays.
Junior Colton Bieker also competed and at KU and will run in the 200 meter dash, 4 by 100 and 4 by 400 relays Friday.
