Waters True Value was the place to be Friday afternoon as dozens came out to have their weather radios programmed.
WIBW TV-13 Chief Meteorologist Jeremy Goodwin was on-hand to personally answer questions from Emporia residents. He says there are a few things to keep in mind with your weather radio.
Goodwin says having multiple ways to get warnings is important.
Goodwin says the Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma is already showing confidence that our area could see severe weather activity by the middle of next week.
Waters True Value sold out of weather radios quickly during Friday’s event and store officials said they likely would have more in stock by Wednesday.
