For the first time in 20 years an Emporia High golfer is the Centennial League Individual champion. Gentry Scheve won the title by 1 stroke over the defending champion Parker Beal of Washburn Rural.
Scheve finished the day with a 78. Collin Hopkins, Garyn Fischer and Caleb Schmidt all shot 90s. As a team Emporia High finished in 4th place behind Washburn Rural, Manhattan and Topeka Hayden.
