The Kansas City Royals scored 3 runs in the first inning but it was not enough as the Boston Red Sox rallied to out score the Royals 10-6 Monday night.
The big hit for the Red Sox was a grand slam by Xander Bogaerts in the 3rd inning. Mike Moustakas was hit by a pitch in the first inning.
The team says X-rays were negative and Moustakas has a bruised right forearm.
The Royals and Red Sox play again Tuesday night with first pitch set for 6:10p. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
