Emporia State mens basketball Coach Craig Doty has announced the hiring of two assistant coaches.
Evan Lavery has been hired as the lead assistant coach. Lavery was an assistant for Coach Doty while at Rock Valley College when they won two national championships. Lavery has spent the last two seasons as the head coach at Rock Valley compiling a record of 50-15.
Coach Doty also announced that Quentin Canty will join Emporia State as a graduate assistant this season. He played for Coach Doty at Rock Valley College and was a member of his coaching staff at Graceland last year when they won the NAIA National Championship.
