The first Emporia Farmers’ Market of the summer season is taking place tomorrow (Sat) morning.
Customers can look forward to a large selection of fresh produce including asparagus, radishes, carrots and spring greens. Along with the produce will be eggs, fresh honey and sunflower oil.
Those in attendance can also look forward to a special demonstration by the Society for Creative Anachronism, a group dedicated to bringing the Middle Ages and Renaissance through research and re-enactment.
The market bell will ring at 8:30 am in the parking lot at 7th and Merchant, breakfast burritos and bierocks will be available.
