The Emporia State men finished in a tie for 3rd place with 2 champions and the women finished in 11th place at the MIAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
The Mens 4 by 400 relay team of Parker Evans, Taysean Goodwin, Luke Stenzel and Duke Tibbs finished in 1st place. Taysean Goodwin led a 1-2-3 finish for Emporia State in the 400 meter dash. Goodwin finished 1st, Luke Stenzel 2nd and Duke Tibbs 3rd.
Duke Tibbs finished 3rd and Taysean Goodwin 4th in the 200 meter dash.
Brian Newkirk finished 3rd and Gabe Sams 4th in the 10,000 meter run.
Thomas LaRoche finished 4th and Murad Baheyadeen 6th in the 800 meter run.
Wyatt Sander finished 4th in the 110 hurdles and 6th in the 400 hurdles
Jared Reinke finished 6th in the 1500 meter run.
The mens 4 by 100 relay team of Colin Coleman, Taysean Goodwin, Jordan Reed and Duke Tibbs finished in 2nd place.
Alec Garcia finished in 6th place in the shot put.
Payton Maydew finished in 2nd place in the decathlon.
For the Emporia State women the 4 by 100 relay team of Jazmin Williams, Hannah Shield, Malacia Lee and Lati Yeargin finished in 3rd place.
The 4 by 400 relay team of Kelsey Graber, Brianna Schmidt, Jazmin Williams and Elizabeth Blevins finished in 6th place.
Hannah Shield finished in 6th place in the 100 meter dash.
Jazmin Williams finished in 7th place in the long jump.
Madelyn Hayes finished in 8th place in the javelin.
Brianna Schmidt finished in 3rd place in the heptathlon.
