Oh what a night for the Kansas City Royals. They scored 10 runs in the first inning. Hit 4 home runs, 3 in a row, before an out was recorded and defeated the Baltimore Orioles 15-7 Tuesday night.
Jorge Soler hit a 2 run home run, Mike Moustakas and Salvador Perez hit solo home runs. Alex Gordon hit a 2 run home run, all in the first inning. Moustakas also hit a 2 run home run in the 5th inning.
Baltimore tried to rally scoring 2 runs in the 8th and 4 runs in the 9th. Danny Duffy picked up his first win, he pitched into the 6th inning giving up 1 run on 6 hits with 5 strikeouts. The Royals and Orioles play again Wednesday with first pitch set for 6:05p. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
