The Emporia High diving trio of Haylee Weiss, Whitney Sparks and Karalyn Karjala continued to show their dominance at the Centennial League meet Thursday.
Junior Haylee Weiss for the 3rd year in a row is the league champion and set a new school 11 dive record. Whitney Sparks finished in 2nd place. Karalyn Karjala finished n 4th place, less then 2 points out of 3rd place. All 3 divers will now prepare for State.
The Centennial League swim meet will be held Friday in Topeka. Freshman Hailey Williams will be swimming in the 200 and 500 free along with the 200 and 400 free relays. Her favorite event is the 500 free.
