The rescheduled Spring Bash Demo Derby is among the big activities taking place in Emporia this weekend.
Lyon County Fair board chair Ken Duft says the event is a partnership with Pay Up Sucker Promotions, and he’s been chatting with organizer Jesse Kimmi about the number of entries expected for Saturday’s event.
Car inspection goes from 1-3 pm. Gates open at 3 pm with the demo derby beginning at 5 pm. Adult tickets are $15. Tickets for kids ages 2-12 are $2.
