An Alma man was arrested on suspicion of rape this month.
The Wabaunsee County Sheriff’s Office says an incident was initially reported in Wamego on Tuesday, but after further investigation involving Wamego Police, Pottawatomie County deputies and Wabaunsee County deputies, it was determined the alleged incident happened at a currently unlisted spot in rural Wabaunsee County.
Zachary Ryan Minor was arrested and confined. Word on formal charges is pending.
Wabaunsee County Sheriff Rob Hoskins says the Kansas Bureau of Investigation and Johnson County Sheriff’s Office also helped with the investigation, with Johnson County providing a drone to help with the case.
