Two men who left their Lyon County Jail work assignments last month are still missing.
Jerry Lynn Batts and B. Jay Snyder did not return from their assignment April 25. Snyder is a white male, 5-foot-10 and 130 pounds, with light brown hair and a pointy beard. Batts is a black male, 5-foot-11 and 165 pounds.
Lyon County Work Release Coordinator Jason Crumb says both men were in jail for failure to appear for a court appearance. Specific details are pending.

Undersheriff John Koelsch says the men will automatically face escape charges in addition to the failure to appear counts once caught. They also will have their work release privileges revoked.
