TOPEKA — An Overbrook man was hurt in a Shawnee County motorcycle wreck on Saturday.
The crash happened near the intersection of Kansas Highway 4 and US Highway 24 in Shawnee County right after 7 pm. The Highway Patrol says 19-year-old Derek Waterworth was driving on K-4 when he failed to make a turn and wrecked his bike.
Waterworth was taken to Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka. The hospital has not released his condition.
