The New York Yankees hit 5 home runs to power past the Kansas City Royals 8-3 Saturday.
New York took a 2-0 lead on an Aaron Hicks inside the park home run.
The Royals tied the game at 2 when Alciedes Escobar scored on a Ryan Goins double and Goins scored on a Jorge Soler single in the 3rd inning.
New York responded with a 3 run home run. Gary Sanchez hit two home runs for the Yankees.
Ryan Goins scored on a Mike Moustakas single in the 5th.
