The State High School boys golf tournaments will be played Monday.
Emporia High will be playing in the 5-A tournament. Sophomore Gentry Scheve is going into the state tournament coming off a regional championship.
Senior Collin Hopkins is making his 4th state tournament appearance.
The 5A state golf tournament will be played at Dubs Dread golf course in Kansas City.
Olpe will be playing in the 2A tournament at Crestwood Country Club at Pittsburg. Lyndons Stephan Steggs will also be playing in the 2A tournament.
Hartfords’ Kolten Neill will be playing in the 1A tournament at Mariah Hills at Dodge City.
Osage Citys’ Trenton Plinsky will be playing in the 3A tournament at Spring Creek Golf Course at Seneca.
Chase County will be playing in the Sand Greens State tournament at Chase County Golf Club at Cottonwood Falls.
Emporias Golf Course will be hosting the 4A state Tournament. Burlingtons Caleb Haselhuhn and Jace Watkins will be playing in the tournament.
