Formal charges have been filed against a 19-year-old Emporia man who led authorities on three separate pursuits over the weekend.
The Lyon County Attorney’s office has charged Andrew Reisen, Jr. with three counts of felony flee and elude. Reisen allegedly led police three different times Saturday evening on a motorcycle chase in and around Emporia reaching speeds in excess of 130 miles per hour, and faces five or more moving violations stemming from the pursuit. Later in the evening Reisen also allegedly wrecked his bike and fled the scene before Emporia Police and Lyon County Sheriff’s deputies arrested him.
Reisen also faces two charges of reckless driving. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 2 p.m. June 14.
