Emporia State held their annual athletics auction Thursday night raising nearly $75 thousand dollars.
Emporia State Athletic Director Kent Weiser called the night a hugh success.
Former Emporia State football player Troy Maton said without his scholarship he would not be where he is now.
The golf tournament will be played Friday at the Emporia Golf Course. All proceeds go to athletic scholarships.
