The investigation continues into an unusual accident involving a bike and pickup truck from earlier this week.
One man, 35-year-old Bradley Renfro, suffered an apparently significant head injury early Wednesday. Renfro says he was holding onto a friend’s truck while riding his bike. At some point at a currently unlisted location, Renfro lost control of the bike, fell and hit his head.
Renfro says his friend took him to Newman Regional Health for initial treatment. However, before the hospital could report the incident to police, the friend allegedly left the building.
Renfro was eventually transferred to an unlisted hospital. His condition is not known.
