Lyon County deputies are investigating the theft of a lawn tractor from a rural Emporia location, and there is a reward for information leading to a conviction as this case develops.
Deputies say they took a report May 23 after an orange and black Husqvarna riding mower was stolen from a shed at 1511 Road 170 sometime after noon May 20. The 24-horsepower mower has its front protection cage bent out.
Currently, there is no word on suspects. Lyon County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000. If you have information, call Crime Stoppers at 342-2273 to leave an anonymous tip.
