A Wichita man was treated at the scene of a reported injury crash and trauma incident on the Kansas Turnpike southwest of Emporia on Friday night.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 28-year-old Ryan Weaver was driving a pickup southbound when his left front tire blew out near mile marker 114, or just north of the Bazaar cattle pens exit, shortly after 9 pm. Weaver’s truck then hit the center barrier wall and overturned.
Weaver declined further medical treatment. He was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash and was the only person in the vehicle.
