Jorge Soler hit a solo home run in the 8th inning lifting the Kansas City Royals past the Oakland A’s Saturday.
The Royals scored 2 runs in the 1st inning on a Salvador Perez double. They added 2 more runs in the 2nd inning. Alcides Escobar tripled driving in Ryan Goins and Escobar scored on a Jon Jay double.
Oakland scored single runs in the 3rd, 4th, 7th and 8th innings. Soler hit his 9th home run of the season in the 8th inning.

Kelvin Herrera earned his 13th save with a 1-2-3 9th inning.
