Emporia Police are requesting assistance locating a missing trailer and lawn mower.
Police were alerted to a possible theft at the Heavy Metal Motor Company lot located at 1931 West Sixth Monday afternoon. Heavy Metal representatives told police the theft likely occurred between 11:30 am Saturday and sometime early Sunday morning.
The 24-foot enclosed trailer is a 2015 Diamond Cargo trailer with both a ramp and side door. Inside were many miscellaneous items including a red push lawn mower. A Polaris RS1 roll cage was also listed amongst the items missing.
