The Los Angeles Angels completed a 3 game sweep of the Kansas City Royals with a 4-3 win Wednesday night.
Alex Gordon drove in all 3 runs with a single in the 4th and a single in the 8th. Ian Kinsler hit a 2 run home run in the 6th to break a 1-1 tie. Justin Upton hit a solo home run in the 7th for the Angels.

The Kansas City Royals traded outfielder Jon Jay to Arizona for Minor League pitchers Elvis Luciano and Gabe Speier last night. Luciano will be assigned to the Burlington Royals (Rookie), while Speier will be assigned to Northwest Arkansas (AA). The Royals are expected to recall an outfielder from Triple-A Omaha to replace Jay in time for Thursday’s game in Oakland.
