An Emporia man will be the featured guest at the Lyon County Democrats’ monthly meeting Monday evening.
Jim Hannon filed for the Kansas State Board of Education’s District 7 position. He will talk about his run for office during the meeting, which will also feature discussions about the local party’s annual fundraiser in July and a campaign update at the precinct level.
The meeting starts at 6:30 pm at the Lyon County Courthouse Annex.
