The Emporia Senior American Legion baseball team rolled to a 17-5 win over Manhattan Next Level Tuesday night.
Post 5 had 3 big innings scoring 4 runs in the 2nd and 6th innings and added 6 runs in the 9th. Cole Moore had a big night going 4 for 5 at the plate with 6 RBI. Kade Kohlmeier was 3 for 5 with 2 RBI. The Post 5 Seniors are now 9-3 for the season. They are scheduled to host Buhler in a doubleheader Wednesday evening with first pitch set for 5pm.
The Emporia Junior Legion team plays a doubleheader in Topeka against the Scrappers Wednesday.
