Part of a road in northeast Lyon County is now closed as part of a Kansas Turnpike bridge improvement project.
Road 310 is now closed between Roads T and U. This comes as the Turnpike Authority prepares to raise a bridge just north of mile marker 143, 17 miles northeast of the Emporia gate and four miles southwest of the Admire-Council Grove exit.
The bridge-raising project is tentatively set to begin June 19 or 20.
