Lyon County commissioners will take their first look at the 2019 budget as part of their action meeting Thursday.
Commissioners will hold a formal budget discussion following the presentation of department and allocation agency budget requests the past several weeks.
In addition, County Engineer Chip Woods will request approval for an agreement with BG Consultants for repairs to the Prairie Street overpass at an estimated cost of almost $117,000. BG Consultants is part of a separate agenda item for project updates and pay estimate approvals.
AAA Kansas is also on the agenda to present an award to the Sheriff’s Office.
The meeting starts at 8 am in the County Courthouse.
