Rain was spotty across the KVOE listening area from Monday afternoon into Tuesday morning.
Heavy rain fell along the Lyon-Wabaunsee county line as a line of storms trained on the same ground for over an hour Monday. There are reports of 3-plus inches of rain along the county line.
Rain totals dropped quickly as you approached US Highway 56, with areas north of Allen receiving half an inch and around 0.10 inches of rain in the town itself.
The KVOE studios and Emporia Municipal Airport were rain-free.
