Lyon County History Center Director Greg Jordan is emphasizing an ongoing fundraising drive to finish renovations to the facility.
Jordan says the goal is to refurbish the third floor.
Bathrooms and a kitchen are part of the remodel plan. Jordan says $100,000 is needed to cap the fundraising effort.
The History Center at 711 Commercial opened its doors in late 2016 after four years of fundraising. The basement is the archives, with the first floor for research and a store. The main exhibit space, including the Hopkins Rest Stop, Loretto Langley Kids Zone and Preston Gallery, is on the second floor.
